Location: Casablanca, Morocco

Position Overview:
The General manager will oversee all operations within the Casablanca office, focusing on legal compliance, office management, and creating a positive workplace atmosphere. This role requires an experienced professional with extensive managerial experience, capable of navigating complex legal and regulatory environments while ensuring efficient office operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of local market dynamics and report directly to top management in Spain.

WHAT WILL YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES BE:

  1. Strategic Leadership:
    • Develop and implement the strategic vision, goals, and objectives of the country office in alignment with the overall company strategy.
    • Identify opportunities for operational improvements while ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.
  2. Office Management:
    • Oversee day-to-day office operations, ensuring a productive and positive working environment for all employees.
    • Implement best practices for office management, including resource allocation and facilities management.
  3. Legal Compliance:
    • Ensure adherence to local laws, regulations, and industry standards, managing all legal issues that arise.
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures that mitigate legal risks and enhance compliance across the organization.
  4. Team Leadership:
    • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing management team, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
    • Promote employee engagement and development through effective performance management and training programs, ensuring a positive workplace atmosphere.
  5. Performance Monitoring:
    • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate operational performance and legal compliance.
    • Regularly report on operational and legal compliance progress to C-level management and the board of directors in Spain.
  6. Financial Oversight:
    • Prepare and manage the country budget with a focus on operational efficiency and legal compliance.
    • Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

·Education: Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field

  • Experience: Experience in managing and office and head of departments for 2-3 years
  • Skills
  • Proven track record of managing legal issues and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create a positive workplace environment and foster employee engagement.
  • High proficiency in French, English, and Arabic; proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
